Dissertation at ACIN wins Fred Margulies Award 2011

Among the 2010 awardees of the Fred Margulies Award is Dr. Peter Gemeiner. He received his doctoral degree at ACIN under the supervision of Ao.Prof. Markus Vincze for his award-winning work "Improving Accuracy and Robustness of Localisation and Mapping Algorithms Using Vision and Inertial Sensors".

The award, in total 6000 €, is organized by the Austrian IFAC-Advisory Committee and the "Gewerkschaft der Privatangestellten" and was presented during the 26th Austrian Day of Automation in Innsbruck by Em.O. Univ.-Prof. Peter Kopacek.
