  • Best Paper Award for his paper published in the magazine “at – Automatisierungstechnik“ („Identifikation und Simulation optischer Verstärker für ultra-kurze Laserpulse“, A. Deutschmann, P. Malevich, A. Baltuška, A. Kugi)
  • Best Presentation Award for his presentation on „Regelung regenerativer optischer Verstärker für ultrakurze Laserpulse“.

Dr. Ernst Csencsics was awarded the Dr. Ernst Fehrer Prize

On Decmeber 12, 2018, Dr. Ernst Csencsics was awarded the Dr. Ernst Fehrer prize for excellent technical research in the field of practical applications by the rectorate of TU Wien. At the Christian Doppler Labor „Precision Engineering for Automated Inline Metrology“ under the guidance of Prof. Georg Schitter, Ernst Csencsics has developed innovative scanning mirror systems, which allow to manipulate light and laser beams faster, more precise and with less energy effort than the state-of-the-art. Congratulations!

A. Galffy awarded the excellent diploma thesis prize
