In the course of the joint conference Mechatronics & Nolcos 2019 Martin Saxinger was awarded the MECHATRONICS 2019 Best Young Author Award for the paper “Non-Collocated Position Control of Steel Strip with Electromagnetic Rejection of Unknown Multi-Harmonic Disturbances” (M. On Decmeber 12, 2018, Dr. Ernst Csencsics was awarded the Dr. Ernst Fehrer prize for excellent technical research in the field of practical applications by the rectorate of TU Wien. At the Christian Doppler Labor „Precision Engineering for Automated Inline Metrology“ under the guidance of Prof. Georg Schitter, Ernst Csencsics has developed innovative scanning mirror systems, which allow to manipulate light and laser beams faster, more precise and with less energy effort than the state-of-the-art.
