Advanced Methods in Mathematical Modeling

This course teaches advanced methods for the mathematical modeling of complex dynamical systems of various physical domains based on the fundamental laws of physics. A special focus will be on the modeling of electromagnetical transducers and coupled elastical mechanical structures.

  • Information for the exam: The examination consists of a written and an oral part. For the written part, small exercises have to be prepared. They serve as a basis for the discussion at the oral examination. In addition, the appendix of the lecture notes contains a list of questions, which show the character of the oral examination.
