Robot Vision for Embedded Systems: Selected Topics

The module leads to a more profound knowledge of current areas of machine vision, especially robot vision, through project implementation. Students will have a critical understanding of key theories, principles, concepts, and algorithms of image processing in robotics and automation. This module allows students to focus on specific areas of robot vision, learn about the state of the art, and discuss and perform their first independent work.

Select a topic from a given list or propose a topic in agreement with the lecturer. Directly work with the assigned assistant to understand all aspects of the topic and work on implementing a solution. Work will be based on a scientific publication.

This module is aimed specifically at students of the Embedded Systems Master’s program.
