FRANC is a modular robot, designed for small scale agricultural applications. The robot supports autonomous navigation in row organized fields and is able to carry light weight implements. From the conceptual point of view it is further possible to “robotify” traditional agricultural implements by attaching powertrain modules, sensors and connecting them to the control unit.
