Kuka LWR

The KUKA LWR is a lightweight robotic arm with a weight of 16 kg and an payload of 7 kg.

Research Project

The Kuka arm is funded by WWTF and VUT, and shared between the consortium KOROS. The robot hand was lend by OttoBock. The KUKA LWR arm, together with the OttoBock Michelangelo hand, were used in the project GRASP to manipulate objects and for grasping object of different categories.
